Andrew,
The chances of getting cars in original condition are none at
all. The remaining cars are being offered to museum groups first and the
balance will go to auction at a date yet to be decided. As you can imagine
the museums are also keen to get original cars and I understand that these
few original cars have been allocated to these groups. There will be however
many other mainly U-boat cars sold and these have the modern Beclawat
windows and many are in poor condition. The terms of the auctions are
usually that you get the cars off the property in 3 to 4 weeks otherwise the
sale would fall through. I hope that this info is of use to you and you can
email back if you have any further questions.
Cheers
Bob
