A slight aside (which you may have noted anyway) S311 leading
ex-Melbourne on 9240 does not necessarily mean it led from Nth Geelong
to Ballarat, as the two legs of the journey are two separate trains and
the loco will usually spend some time at Geelong Loco depot before
joining the Ballarat bound 9137.
