P class loco roster

We seem to be getting close with VLPs roster for their four A classes, and
I'm assuming that the four Ys are two for the Spencer Street Pass Yard, one
for Geelong (Y 129 today 22/10) and a spare.

What about the eight P's ?

Do the P's on the Poor Mans XPT ( P-6 cars-P) stay together all day ( or
all week, or ????) ?

Am I right in guessing that P's on passes now run only to Bacchus Marsh and
Sunbury ?

The following trains run as Poor mans XPTs
0600 (8003) ex SSS, arr Sunbury 0638 (empty cars)
0708 (8006) ex Sunbury, arr SSS 0752.
0742 (8118) ex Bacchus Marsh, arr SSS 0834.
1707 (8123) ex SSS, arr Bacchus Marsh 1802.
1717 (8037) ex SSS, arr Sunbury 1804.
1823 (8042) ex Sunbury, arr SSS 1903.
Obviously two sets with four locos but not very good utilisation if they
are not split up for other runs during the day.

What trains do the other four locos run ?

It would appear that each weeknight the following trains are stabled at
Bacchus Marsh:-
P-6 cars-P (usually near goods shed)
N-4 cars
A-4 cars-DH (power van)
Sprinter (one car I think)
P-4 cars
P-4 cars (one of these sets may be 3 cars)

It appears that the 1820 up empty cars (8154) which was running as P-A-P
light engines is now running as P-4 cars (P16 today 20/10).
