Hi krel,

The 1719 last night (Tuesday) was A62 hauled, Monday A66. I didn't
hear the light engines return... now I know why. I've been ignoring
the N class horn blasts, assuming them to be Ballarat bound... I'll
keep watch from now on.

This morning (Wednesday) A62 was resting peacefully in the Spencer
Street Pass Yard at about 0845, so she must have run in this morning
on 8112 (ex the Marsh at 0650) or 8114 (ex the Marsh at 0715)). 8118
(ex the Marsh at 0742) is operated as a push-pull. So it appears that
one is A hauled, the other N hauled. I'm not in Sunshine that early
(I take the kids to school), so I don't know which is on what.

I was quite surprised to see A62 there this morning as I saw her on
Monday heading "down" through Richmond light engine at about 0840, and
assumed she was heading down to Frankston to run the Stony Point
passes for the week.

I think there was only ever a shuffle of A's at Seymour as the down
Tocumwal superfreighter used to be A+P to Seymour, then P only
onwards. The up train was P ex Tocumwal, then A+P from Seymour to
Totty Yard. I suspect that the A's are be be 100% available or the
Stony Point is P or N hauled.
