Can anyone tell me just why a train failing at Linden at around 4pm (Mike
Carlton announced it on the radio at that time) causes trains that HAVEN'T EVEN
LEFT SYDNEY TERMINAL TO BE UP TO 3 HOURS LATE ARRIVING AT THEIR
DESTINATIONS!!!!!

My train (4:59pm ex Central), the Fish, the Chips etc. were all greatly delayed
by this failure - and it's happened before (back in May). Why isn't there
better co-operation between AN/NR/whoever runs the service and CityFail??

Doesn't surprise me in the least. Haul the damn thing with electrics, double
38's or even NR's, but put it away if it's in trouble!! Better still, send it
via the South!
