Seems Clyde have been snooping around South Dynon Loco, recently. Story
goes , that they find it unbelievable, that so few Fitters can maintain the
Fleet. Well most of us drivers know how they do it.....they dont!
New V/line Director of Freight visited Wodonga last week, bringing doom and
gloom
as his partners. Dont want the Freight Centre...Dont want the Super....Dont
want the
Fuel. National rail want Uncle Bens, and CRT want to stay at Bandiana.
Asked about the Wood Traffic to Geelong, and he could tell us nothing.
Suspected that the Road Lobby got it....CRT were to be moved out of
Bandianna immediatly.
Well got news for this dipstick...We won the timber contract and start
cartage to Geelong Tomorrow. 9250 Up Oil Train will probably run up to 50
vehicles at least 3 times a week. This is additional to the 10 to 15 trucks
of logs out of Benalla.
CRT were to move into the Coal Sidings but that wont go ahead as the logs
will be stored on the ground, leaving little room for CRT. They are happy,
because their
largest customer, has announced a 20 million Expansion which will double
the
30 ft Plastic Container Traffic in to Wodonga. Another big contract for W.A
wheat into the area is about to start and CRT are looking at extra trains
in and out of Bandianna.
Well Boss there is the News you should have been able to tell us.
Why do I get the idea that all this Corporisation BullShit [and
Privatisation] is just more of the same.
Rod
ps sitting in Albury since last week is a train of 65 ft flats being sent
to Goulburn on behalf of TNT [??] anyone got any idea if they are leased
or purchased from V/Line, and where they will run?
