You saw A62 on the 7.03am..... so the 7.03am loco has a snooze in the
morning sunshine while the loco off the 6.30am up Seymour train forms
the 8107 (0825 ex Spencer Street) to Bacchus Marsh returning as 8124
(0950 ex Bacchus Marsh), this morning A66.
AFAIK and, after, posing this question here several weeks ago and
getting many answers (thanks guys), there appears to be no other
regular A class pass working except Frankston - Stony Point
(sometimes, though usually hauled by an X).
So summarising pass workings,
1. Seymour to Melbourne 2 in the morning, Melbourne to Seymour 2 in
the evening.
2. Melbourne to Bacchus Marsh and return in the morning, Melbourne
to Bacchus Marsh and return as l/e in the evening.
3. Frankston - Stony Point (several per day): sometimes an A (so it
must stay down there for several days).
That's why pass services only need 4 A's.
