The first train was worked by 42107 & 42109 back-to-back, leaving
Grafton around 0100, delayed by the late up XPT. Conveyed 3 cement
for Old Casino and 7 flyash for Murwillumbah, retuning the same
morning with empties, back into Grafton just after midday.
Official commencement is/was scheduled for 2/10 before Federal
Minister Sharp had some problems with travel expenses.
