This has only been a relatively recent arrangements. All Liverpool trains
used to be formed by North Shore trains. But this was back when Illawarra
Line trains were City Circle trains, the was no link from East Hill to
Glenfield, and most off peak Liverpool via RP trains were Two Car double
deck or even 2 car single deck shuttles between Lidcombe and Campbelltown
(passengers changing trains at Lidcombe), and the area between Liverpool
and Campbelltown being considered rural.

How times have changed.

Albert.
