For those who may be interested in this sort of thing, there are a few
companies who make Railway simulators of some sort, usually however they dont
in any way relate to the scene is Australia.
One US company however does make a CTC simulator which now includes a bit of
AUS track , namely Maitland to Kempsey, ie part of the Nth Coast Line.
All the loops are there and the main stations etc.
Its just been released and Ive been playing it for a while and have to say
that its pretty close to the real thing,ie you are a controller sitting in
Broadmedow Complex running NR trains to Brisbane and Coal trains to stratford
mine etc.If you are interested there is a free demo on www.usaor.net/signal.
There is also a track builder for modelling your own tracks / adding extra
trains like XPTs etc.
Have a play, you may get addicted like me.

cheers
MD
