The plaform sides are precast concrete, in an "Z" type shape. It
appears as if they just sit on the ground without any footings or the
like, only held in place with the weight of the soil on top. I also
noticed today that contactors were still filling in the south end of
the platform. They were doing this while trains are still running
past. The dump truck crossing the running tracks to get another load.
