I saw the report on channel 9 news last night. It struck me that they
must have been short of news items, as it seems silly to interview
weekend travellers about such changes. On platforms 2 and 3, the PTC
had a manned information centre set up for the past week at least.
Regular commuters should know where to go, and what to do, if, as you
say, they read the information that they are given.
My husband's train this morning was only held up for a few minutes
between Richmond and Flinders Street. He thought it was good, as he
normally has to change trains at Richmond for a train direct to Flinders
Street. Why was the City Loop built so that trains only travelled in
one direction for a given line at a particular time of day?
