And I suppose that all CD players should play records? Otherwise those
people without CD players would be disadvantaged. : )
The reality is that if you want to listen to most new music you HAVE to buy
a CD player. Bad luck to those people who don't update.

Backward compatibility is all very well where it can be done...but some
steps forward have to be made in leaps...and it's bad luck if you don't
keep up with the times. New computers, new technology every day...I'm
afraid it all costs a lot of money...but isn't that progress? Some might
claim otherwise. : )
