All-in-all, if the rumour is true and I hope it is, it seems as though
V-Line are putting a bit more faith in country rail services.

I don't think anyone will miss the demise of the H-sets it's just that
it will be a shame that the P-class locos may also go with it, but
somehow, I don't think these locos will disappear just yet. Short-Line
haulage is just starting up here so there might be a good opportunity
to gain a bargain for a budding company so inclined.

Now, if I only had $20K or so to spare.......
