An agreement has been reached where all parts of 3813 at the NSWRTM at
Thirlmere will be sent to Dorrigo. The Powerhouse wants to keep the boiler,
so they will be funding the construction of a replica boiler shell to allow
3813 to be assembled as a static exhibit. The agreement also allows for the
parts of 3813 to be used as spares for 3801 and 3830 on an exchange basis,
any parts taken from the running locos will be refurbished before being
fitted to 3813.
