I mailed the "creator" as listed in the HTML comments and got a pretty
prompt response. Alas, it was full of the usual nonsense.

Such things as "Trying to provide the information to as many people as
possible at minimum cost to the SRA". Nonsense. At maximum income to the
coder is my assertion. :(

He even included an interesting comparison, which was along the lines of
saying JavaScript was like colour TV... you can turn both off an lose out
he said.... funny how if you do that on a TV you still get a picture....
and if you use a black and white TV you still get a picture.

It wasn't worth replying as it was clear the good old public service
mentality was out in force.

The biggest joke is the new fares calculator. It uses JavaScript mostly
for no reason at all. It performs one useful function which is to make
sure the user doesn't make the Origin and Destination the same... well
duh. I proved this to myself by making a simple HTML form on my computer,
filling it in, submitting it, and I got the required answer.
