They, Wisconsin Central, have got most of OUR freight in the recent
carve-up, under the patriotic title "English, Welsh & Scottish Railways".
Interviewed recently in one of our Railway Magazines, Ed Burkherdt(?) seemed
to have a greater enthusiasm for developing that sector - freight - than any
home companies. BR found it just too irksome.
