Bill is quite right - if I were to release info (such as track access
costs etc), I'd be breaching my own employment contract, and WCR
contracts. Not to mention that I'd be plain bloody stupid to break the
trust that has been placed in me, and hence destroy my career in the
rail industry.

Yes, WCR makes money. That's no secret, if you have been alive in
Victoria in the past few weeks, you would have heard our Directors on
many radio/TV stations (and in the papers) stating that WCR have
returned small profits. As a private company, WCR are not obligated to
publish the details of their profits. WCR is a private company - if it
doesn't make money, it goes bankrupt, as opposed to governments, who
just get more and more into debt, then make us all pay by bumping up
taxes (does the $100 State Defecit Levy ring any bells?).

Regards,
Craig.
