Daniel,

I know what you mean. My train usually get to Richmond with that
Tangara set around 8.30 in the morning. Yes, I am surprised that the
P.T.C. management still yet to notice the crowdness of that train from
Richmond. After a quick check of my Metropolitan Train Timetable
(W.T.T.), it becomes obvious the reason for such situation. Beside
picking up Flinders Street direct passengers along its journey into
town, it will also pickup passengers from following services at
Richmond:

* (T.D. 3614) 07.36 UP Belgrave (Richmond arr. 8.30) - City Loop
* (T.D. 3740) 07.46 UP Lilydale (Richmond arr. 8.34) - City Loop

Furthermore, it is possible that passengers from following trains are
picked up as well:

* (T.D. 4616) 07.29 UP Pakenham (Richmond arr. 8.29) - City Loop
* (T.D. 3720) 07.37 UP Lilydale (Richmond arr. 8.25) - City Loop

Assuming that some trains are running a little late. Perhaps the P.T.C.
should swap the running time of this train with the (T.D. 2008) 08.05 UP
Glen Waverley (Richmond arr. 8.36). Maybe this will partially solve the
overcrowding of the Tangara set.
