Illawarra Light Railway Museum Society
24th Anniversary Celebrations
Saturday 21st June 1997

The ILRMS extends a cordial invitation to all members and
supporters of the society and rail enthusiasts to join in
our 25th anniversary celebrations and view and ride a
range of the narrow gauge railway exhibits preserved and
restored to operating condition since its formation in
February 1972. Comencing from 1:00pm. $5 all day ticket
for non-members.

* Four steam locos operating including:
* Visiting steam loco ex Corrimal Colliery Railway 2ft
gauge Hudson 0-4-0WT Bn 1423 of 1922
* Variety of internal combustion locos working
* Displays of narrow gauge wagons and carriages
* Official anniversary ceremony at 3:00pm with the mayor
of Shellharbour Cr. Ces Glenholmes and entertainment by
the Concord Youth band.

Hightlight of the day and the only chance to see in steam
and working together for the first time in 35 years ex
Corrimal locos "Burra" 0-4-0ST (1923) and the Robert
Hudson 0-4-0 well tank (1922). Both will operate passenger
and coal skip trains.
