Correction....
Westrail and ANR rules do not allow for the situation you have described.
This practise is now outlawed. Under Westrail rules, it is now necessary to
maintain a 2 signal gap between trains.
Under ANR rules only 1 train is permited to enter a crossing station at a
time. When the first train has come to a stand within station limites then
the other can be admitted.
