Vale Fyansford?

As reported in Rod's Rail News Victoria, Geelong Cement will cease
rail despatch of bulk cement from Fyansford "except in abnormal
circumstances" to quote RNV, and will now despatch via their associate
company presumably by road. Does this effectively mean the end of the
Fyansford branch/siding?

Trucks using Fyansford will now jump from 35 to 50 per day, I assume
this means road-trucks and not rail-trucks?

Is it a case of another one lost to roads? Perhaps short-sightedness
on behalf of their associated company in transferring their business
to road or a lack of salesmanship by Vline freight?

I hope the extra trucks make a real mess of the roads.
