A tram is a tram is a tram. there is no disguising it, even if the
new units look more like buses,

I wouldn't mind betting they relent withing the next six months.
After all, they will need to generate some income somehow!

The SF system generates a heap of income from tourist and local alike.
However, the route is rather more useful than the current Sydney
setup.
