Get your facts right instead of airing off your empty head.
Acceditation costs were the last concern (See Auditor General's Report.)
The WCR nominated class of Drivers attended the South Dynon Loco Driver
Training Centre , conducted by Mr. K, Penny . Traction Tunning Manager. and
all pased.
This class was the 1st, to be conducted for the "Accreditation" of
'Outside" Loco Drivers.by the PTC.
As the contract was to operate Passenger Trains between South Geelong and
Warnambool, this is all the Drivers were qualified in.( Train Order
Territory)
As you are not aware of,obviously, Geelong to South Geelong Home Arrival
is "Station Limits" for Geelong "A" Box.which these Driver's were not
qualified in.
The PTC would not allow an express passenger train to stop at SGL. for a
change of crews/loco under any circumstances.allso the PTU would not allow
WCR Driver's to drive their loco's between GLG & SGL, ( than alone SPS)
therefore they had no alternitve but hire PTC loco's. carriages & crews to
meet their contract requirements.
WCR Loco's after a lot of modifications to suit the PSU are now operating
as everyone is aware
Eno's 1 (Bob Evans) was one of the WCR nominated class students.
Thiis is a broad overview of the facts.
Regards
Ben.
