In Queensland we also use mostly 26L on our clydes and the Loco's
(Independent or engine brake) hauling must be able to hold the train on
any grade they are on. On the coal field trains they also have special
wagons that have 'B' brakes (operated with the Locomotive Independent
brakes) to hold trains on grades.

Our brake engineer would have a fit at just depending on the train
brakes.
