Steamtown and Quorn do operate identical power eg WAGR W Class, however Quorn
and Steamtown operate different rollingstock and different safeworking systems,
and have distinctly different approaches to their business management.

The gap between Eurelia and Bruce on the former Quorn line represents the
biggest hurdle, although Steamton did submit to leave this section, over the
Moockra Bank, intact. Other factors eg rollingstock and SW systems are only
minor issues in the scheme of things.

[Maybe CHRTSA should push for standardisation of SW systems, locomotive
operating systems (especially now with the cost of "competency based" courses
for steamers) and other common crew positions. This was raised several years
ago, but nothing has since happened.]

It certainly would be great to be able to travel the full lenght of the line.
