Re: Port Kembla breakwater railway



I assume you mean the south breakwater. I will look up some books tonight
and try to find some info. I suspect it would have been operated by the PWD
as they used to handle all the jetty shunting. The site where their depot
was is near the quarry that is currently the Wollongong building refuse
dump. I think this quarry supplied rock for the breakwaters.
