NRC train radio - test train

National Rail ran a Train Radio test train from Melbourne to Brisbane over
the last few days. It will be stabled at Acacia Ridge until Mon 5/1/98 when
it will run back to Mebourne. Consist:  NR loco, Victorian Spirit car 
(fitted out for testing). 
Basic timetable: All runs during daylight hours
Mon 5/1 Acacia Ridge - Taree
Tues 6/1 Taree - Chullora
Wed 7/1 Chullora - Junee
Thurs 8/1 Junee - Dynon
It will be checking compatability with the NR gear to the various radio
systems along the way.
