Can anyone suggest a place or two in the greater Sydney area to
observe and photograph trains? Not just the commuter and other
passenger trains, but freight services as well. How much freight
business is there, in terms of trains per day? Is there enough that I
could just go sit near the tracks and something would come along
fairly soon? Where are the locomotive shops and marshalling yards
located?
Also, is there a book or hobby shop with a really good selection of
railway books?
Finally, I'd be interested in acquiring some Australian employee
timetables. Have North American items to trade, if interested please
