Hi there, I wonder if you can help me. My name is Scott Fitzgerald, and
I am an editor for the Macquarie Dictionary. At the moment we are the
final days of writing copy for a new edition of the "Book of Events", a
book of Australian history, divided up into various subject areas, one
such subject being Railways. I am looking for important events in this
area from the year 1983 to the present. Could you suggest either places
to look or some actual events? Any help you could provide would be most
appreciated. I have to have this finished by the end of this week -
sorry about the short notice, but this has been a last minute thing that
has landed in my lap.
