Is he Swiss, Austrian or German? That's a surprise.

Or are you omplying that Siss, Austrians or Germans
are somehow hostile to public transport.

If you are, then you're wrong: public transport in
all German cities is far better than what's on offer
in Australia.

Melbourne comes close to, but does not achieve,
the quality and level of service on tram, bus and
city rail that Berlin offers.

What is more, transport policy is supportive of
public transport in every one of the sixteen German States,
whether they are conservative or social democrat.

Same goes for Austria and Switzerland.
