For those who like reading weighty documents,the Australian National Railways
Commission Sale Act 1997 makes for some interesting reading.
Some of the more interesting provisions include the repeal of a number of
existing Acts , including all those which enabled AN to take over the old SAR .
Im no lawyer , but it seems to me that this would mean that the existing lines
in SA , ie Wolseley to the SA/WA border and to the SA/NT border would revert
to control of the SA Govt.
Does anyone have any more info on what it all means.?
