The only problem with a GM in Notch 8 is that normally the only sound is that of
it guts going up the spout.

Anyway, you're all wrong.re EE, GM, Alco, GE, Toshiba,

The only true diesel power, and the only site and sound is that of a Sulzer.

The Nsu, despite poor bogie design that is good to straitening out track, as PRR
are aware, and Steamtown will find out, worked well from more or less day one.
They were designed for a particular application, and served their masters well.
Yes by todays standards they may be primative, but they were reliable.

The NT's have gone down in Hx as a maligned engine, yet they performed all their
duties well. in their final days, it was only through an apparent lack of
maintenance/familiarity that they disgraced themselves.

Regardless of my prefence for power, the keys are good design and thorough
servicing, whether steamer or diesel powered. Miss on one of these, and forget
it!
