Sorry, I lost the thread and had to go back to the beginning !

There is/was original Df 1501 preserved in excellent condition out the
front of Pacific Steel in/near Otahuhu, Auckland. this loco is protected by
a cantilever roof (great for photos and is floodlit at night.

Still can not find info on this class but am still looking.

EE also built the following NZR electric locos

Ed class 1-Do-2 670Kw built 1937-1940 by EE UK #101, NZR Hutt shops
#102-108, NZR Addington shops #109-110.

Ew class Bo-Bo-Bo 1120Kw built EE/RSH UK 1951 #1800-1806.

Dm class motor coach Bo-Bo 313Kw built 1938-1954 by EE UK #1-49.

E class Battery loco built by Dick Kerr works, built 1923 scrapped 1930 #E1

Eo class (original) Bo+Bo.builtby Dick Kerr Works 1923.680hp.

Ec class Bo-Bo built by Dick Kerr works 1928, 940hp.

Preserved at Ferrymead, Christchurh are :-
Dg2255, Ec 7 &Eo 3.

Preserved at Silverstream, Wellington is:-
De 505

Preserved at Weka Pass are:-
Dg 2232, Dg2468

All above are operational

Preserved non operational are DF 1501 (see above), Ed 101, Ed 103 (location
unknown - so far).
