That's what the XPT trailers are based on.  with the exception that the XPT cars
are constructed from fluted stainless steel and the MKIII are constructed from
conventional steel.  Both have the same bogies design underneath them with the
exception of the ABB cars.  Any difference in ride would be because of weight
and track with the MKIII being a heavier car and the track in the UK being a lot
smother than ours.
