The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) is again being urged to
meet farmers to discuss its decision to introduce licence fees for
crossing rail lines. Landholders in the upper south-east have objected
to paying $220 to register private crossings on the Adelaide to
Melbourne line, plus an annual licence fee of the same amount.
