Not at all... and for MUCH longer that just between two stations!

None that impacted the sections which cause the endemic slow running
over much of the Beenleigh line.... such a disappointment after the
fast trip from the Gold Coast to Beenleigh.

Realignments of the same nature as the one you referred to above
around Beenleigh have occurred at a number of places on the CityRail
system as the track layout has been rationalised or other major works
have taken place in recent years.  The recent rearrangements around
Hornsby are a good example.

How quickly the memory of the decrepit steam era Brisbane suburban
system has faded.  The real test will be what CityTrain looks like
after its been running an electric network 70 years.
