Overhead in the train on the way home tonight were two passengers commenting
on the platform indicators at Mitcham and Blackburn this morning.
The 0707 up Ringwood was advertised at Mitcham (due 0711) as "Flinders
Street: connects with East Kew bus and Deepdeene bus at Burnley".
Similarly at Blackburn (due 0717) the train was advertised as connecting
with the buses at Camberwell.
The "railways" bus route 902 that connected with trains at EAST Camberwell
ceased in 1990.
Paul in Melbourne.
