Dont know that the busway can actually support light rail. Victoria bridge
was strengthened to support light rail vehicles, then 2 months later BLR
fell through again. from what I have read about the busway the elevated
parts of the busway are not designed to support the mass of a lrv and some
of the inclines are too steep (around griffith uni). But this is all from
newspapers and newsgroups.
