[NSW] Fatality at Minto

Any details on this one?

>From what queries I have made, It's undetermined if it was an accident
or suicide. All I know is it apparently involved an Xploder...

As hard as it may seem to say, I think State Rail did about the best
they could, given the circumstances. We had buses a bit over 30 mins
after it happened running Macarthur -> Ingleburn, with sardine specials
from there.

A couple of questions though...

1. The Interline depot is fairly close to Glenfield station. Why not run
the rail bus services from Glenfield -> Campbelltown instead, using the
up line for storage of sets to get passengers out on?

2. A C set (C 1 IIRC) was sitting at Campbelltown platform 2. Why not
use it as a shuttle between Campbelltown/Macarthur? Would save having to
take passengers to Macarthur by bus, freeing up more buses for
city-bound passengers.

3. Why was a south-bound Endeavour terminated at Campbelltown, when it
arrived *after* the scheduled time of a Goulburn service? (err? They
parked it outside Campbelltown station from what I could see)

Despite the above questions, I believe that we got about as good as
could be expected, and better than Ivan would expect ;)

Sorry to dwell on the circumstances, but I do believe that the effort
made to get things moving by *some* means is worthy of some praise. Sure
beats walking! ;)

Basilisk II support questions should be sent to the Delphi forums if
possible, so that they can be quickly and accurately answered (I don't
know everything!)
