All you had to do was go to Roma Street, tell them you were catching an
airport train, they would have let you through the barrier. Then you ride
the train to International and buy your ticket there. Ticketek were
admittedly more backwards than forwards but that was due to having to ticket
several major sporting events and the like simultaneously. they admitted
they could not cope.
