Re: [NSW] Hunter questions and observations

In Sydney they can barely find an extra 2 cars for some services (ie extend
from 6 to 8 cars), and the trains are already heavily loaded, sometiems with
no standing room (that is, wait for next train!).

The best thing that was done in Sydney was the Olympics, it made timetablers
really think of what was needed and the limited resources were maximised
without any hiccups. Train usage in Sydney is only going to grow, with more
lines, and more people, let alone the Hunter.

:
: The point I was trying to make was that they are only going to get fuller
and
: fuller. Be proactive in encouraging people to use the train. Building
the
: station at the uni was the best thing they've done around here for a
while,
: and considering that the uni and Warabrook itself are only going to grow,
then
: planning for the future should be done now.
