An article in the Daily Terrorgraph says that the Parramatta-Chatswood
rail link is too expensive to be built as a whole and will be repackaged
into a two stage project.
Stage one is Chatswood to Epping, with a completion date of 2008. Stage
two from Epping to Parramatta will depend on budget with no set
completion time!

I knew something like this would happen. Barring a miracle, it will be
2050 before the link is finished.
