Stage 1: Epping to North Ryde.
Change of government.
Project cancelled due to lack of patronage.
M2 extended, upgraded.
Change of government due to promised completion of line.
Stage 2: Ku-ring-gai College to Chatswood. Shuttle bus to operate between N
Ryde & Ku-ring-gai College to avoid problem of river crossing.
Project cancelled due to lack of patronage.
M2 extended, upgraded.
Change of government due to promised completion of line.
Stage 3. Westmead to Carlingford Line. Shuttle bus between Carlingford &
Epping.
Change of government.
M2 extended, upgraded.
Change of government due to promised completion of line.
Stage 4. North Ryde to Gordon. Ku-ring-gai College to Chatswood sold to
private light rail operator. Bus lanes between Carlinford & Epping.
Opposition identifies Galston as key region, promises rail service if
elected.
Stage 5. Epping to Galston . Ku-ring-gai College to Chatswood light rail
files for bankruptcy.
M2 reaches Nepean River (8 lanes)
Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
