Ok, if you insist.

I am flying from Sydney to Melbourne tomorrow (oops, looks at the time, I
mean today) on Qantas, and will be getting 990 frequent flyer points. As a
Qantas Club member, I will be arriving about 3 hours before my return
flight, and will be drinking bourbon and coke for a lengthy period prior to
departure. My return fare? $76.34, including GST, noise levy and GST on the
noise levy.

And to cap it all off, with the changes to the Qantas Freuent Flyer Program
effective 15/9, if I make one of these trips a month between now and next
January, I will have enough points to upgrade my trip to London (ex SYD on 6
Feb, return ex LON on 21 Feb) next year from discount cattle class to
Economy - and it only would have cost me about $700 (I only paid $1400 for
the Sydney to London airfare, so I will be able to get a business class
airfare for around $2200).
