The State Government could deliver a fast train between Ballarat and
Melbourne in 64 minutes without private sector funding. This is the
finding of a paper released by the State Government to the private
sector about the project. The report shows that Government funding would
deliver a 64-minute express service to Ballarat - four minutes off the
Government's target.
