Re: Rail gauge

South Australia had quite a large network of 3'6".
- The southeast (Bordertown-Mount Gambier-Kingston and including a short lived
branch to Serviceton)
- The northern division extending from Hamley Bridge
- The Peterborough Division: Port Pirie-Cockburn (NSW Border) plus branches to
Terowie, Quorn, Wilmington)
- The Port Lincoln division
The line from Quorn extended (and still does now, almost) down to Port Augusta,
and northwards to Alice Springs.
The BHP lines at Whyalla are 3'6", but at Coffin Bay were SG.

Plus, other lesser industrial lines scattered around the place, of various
gauges. That last statement applies to all states - in the Rubicon book (VIC)
it is mentioned that one location had tracks of three gauges - a long time
before the more famous Port Pirie Junction.

A definitive list of all lines and gauges would be quite long, methinks...
