[NSW] Trackwork Coming Up

According to the Southern Highlands local rag, CityRail services will be
suspended for a week from 1 April whilst track work is undertaken between
Picton and Tahmoor, not before it's time as the condition of the sleepers on
the down line just south of Picton is deplorable.  Countrylink and freight
services will continue running during this period.  The local member Peta
Seaton has been kicking up a fuss, saying it's not fair to local commuters.
The 3.46 pm Endeavour service to Goulburn (described as the Sardine Express)
was recently terminated at Moss Vale because of a build-up of freight
trains, the passengers having to
wait an hour until replacement buses could be arranged, which didn't please
them.

Since this is due to happen on 1st April, perhaps CityRail could institute a
replacement service on the loop line, using RTM steam loco 2705 as motive
power with a special boiler ticket for the week.
