Re: train carriage/s - where to get one



Are you sure its for sale?
Its a few months since I was down there but it looked pretty well there for
good, and since it is their cafe I'm a bit surprised that they would be
getting rid of it. I've been there many times over a number of years and its
never been empty of patronage. Painted close to tuscan red, the car itself
seems to be in good condition, does have bogies and sits on a small length
of track. Its been internally stripped to turn it into a cafe so there is
little original left inside it.  It currently has 4 seat tables down one
side and a very small kitchen at one end.
I suppose it suitability would depend on what you wanted to do with it.
