Oh shit. That puts off my visit for nine months. So much for September
2000.

At least the delay means the new Citadis trams will be running the whole
route by the time the extension opens.

Since when did it take A YEAR to lay 1.5 km of tram track? Even in the
days of doing it by hand they could lay much more than this in just a
few months....   even the cable track didn't take that long to install
and it was done by hand and was far more complicated than laying a
double set of rails in flush concrete in a street and stringing wires
from the roadside power poles.
